Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. As a Podiatrist, you will diagnose and treat conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and lower leg. Your expertise will help improve the mobility and overall well-being of our patients. Duties: - Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet, ankles, and lower legs - Diagnose and treat foot and ankle conditions such as fractures, sprains, bunions, corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, and infections - Perform surgical procedures when necessary, including foot and ankle surgeries - Prescribe medications and recommend appropriate treatments for patients - Educate patients on proper foot care techniques and preventive measures - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care - Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient visits Qualifications: - Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited college or university - Valid state license to practice as a Podiatrist - Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to the foot and lower leg - Proficient in performing vital signs assessments - Basic life support (BLS) certification - Experience in patient care and medication administration - Familiarity with coding procedures for billing purposes - Ability to work in a hospital or clinical setting We offer competitive compensation packages and opportunities for professional growth.
